Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see physical samples of invitations before placing an order?

You can certainly get your hands on some physical samples. We will send you samples of what we have in stock but close to what you are looking for. There is a small cost associated with the samples. Will be determined depending on the samples to be mailed and where. All samples will be sent out via Regular Post. Please allow enough time to receive them.

Can I see a physical sample of my ordered invitation?

Yes of course we always recommend all clients to purchase their exact sample so you can see the exact colors chosen and maybe also want to get it weighed for postage costs. There is a small cost associated with the sample. Will be determined depending on the samples to be mailed and where. All samples will be sent out via Regular Post. Please allow enough time to receive them.

Can I choose more than one language for my invitations?

Yes of course, more than one language can be printed for your invitations so you can please all your guests. Just let us know how many invitations you need of each language once you place your order. There is no additional language fee associated to your order.

How do I know how much postage is required for my invitations?

The standard envelope size we use is 5 1/4″ by 7 1/4″ or 6″x6″ or 4 1/8″ by 9 1/2″. We can alter the invitations so that they are larger or rectangular however, larger sizes will incur more postage and more material costs. Most of our invitations do require extra postage not because of the size but because of the thickness of the overall package. Please check with your local post office for more information when mailing the invitations.

We get many requests for different configurations of our invitations – we will provide our expert opinion on the requests that you may have to ensure that your invitations come out beautifully. Invitations & Co. cannot be held responsible if the postage required for your invitations is greater than anticipated.

Can I use many ink colours for my invitations?

As you may use many colors, we always recommend using a maximum of two colors to match your paper and ribbons. There may be an extra fee if more than two colors are used.

Do I need to provide the text for the invitations?

Yes, you can choose your own wording or look at our sample texts in our Wording & Fonts section. Please note that all texts should be supplied on a WORD document.
